snip snaps

So I've had my camera for a couple of weeks now. And I still don't feel like i know how to use even a quarter of it. So many settings! I need a camera maestro to teach me.. or join a camera club or something. But i'm having fun with it :) And it certainly helps with taking photos to put on here!

Here are some gorgeous cards I have been given that I can't bring myself to put away! The two bunnies are from the boyfriend and the owl was an awesome birthday card from a friend!

I have so many odd earrings and broken ones.. I intend to repair them one day or use for something else. But for now they get put in there. Don't you just hate it when you lose one earring?!

Here are some of my lovely birthday presents. A beautiful bangle and the cutest little owls filled with soap. I'm very reluctant to use the owls. I may just have them on display forever :)

So far i'm very happy with my Canon :). Haven't really had the chance to take her out properly yet as i've been at work. We are planning on visiting a place called Mt. Edgcumbe tomorrow. Its a lovely landscape garden just across the river into Cornwall. My favourite place here.. can't wait!

I shall do a proper post then but first here is a little snap of some additions to my owl family. Ollie knows how much I love owls so got me several cute little owl related things for my birthday. I already had the blue (mint) lip balm but he got me the others. Now they are a little family. And super yummy in strawberry & orange chocolate too!

A gorgeous card given to me by my boyfriends best mate for Christmas. I  adore it, im going to keep it forever!

 

This is a little owl canvas that I made, using old curtain fabric samples and some beads.

My favourite cushion Archibald (red) and his wife Matila, who's insides are microwaveable for cuddles in winter ;)

 

This is a cute little lip balm I got for Christmas!
